Your progress depends on your commitment and practice. With regular participation in live classes and speaking practice, you can reach basic conversational fluency (B1-B2) within 6-12 months.
We recommend at least 3-5 hours per week for steady progress. If you want to accelerate your learning, joining daily practice sessions and engaging with our community will be beneficial.

New Stamford School offers a diverse range of courses with education visas, including Thai language and culture courses, English language courses, and university-run courses in collaboration with renowned Thai universities.
New Stamford School provides both online and on-site course options to cater to various learning goals and schedules.
The duration of the courses varies depending on the type of course and the student’s learning objectives:
• Thai language and culture courses: Available in 3, 6, 9, or 12-month durations.
• English language courses: Offered in 3, 6, 9, or 11-month durations.
• University-run courses: Available in 12 or 15-month durations.
New Stamford School offers a free ‘Handbook for International Students Living in Thailand’, which covers essential topics such as Thai culture, customs, immigration, banking, transportation, healthcare, and housing to support students’ transition to life in Thailand.

Visa & International Student Support
Studying at New Stamford School with an education visa allows you to immerse yourself in the rich culture and language of Thailand while advancing your academic and career prospects. Visa Validity and Extensions
An Education Visa (ED Visa) is issued for 90 days initially but can be extended for the duration of your studies.
You can extend your visa every 90 days at the Chiang Mai Immigration Office. It’s recommended to notify us 45 days in advance for support.
Yes, but you must apply for a re-entry permit before departure. Failure to do so will result in visa termination.
No, family members must apply for their own visas separately.
Payments & Refund Policy
A deposit for 3 months' program fees is required to start the visa paperwork. The remaining balance is paid upon arrival in Thailand.
If your visa is refused, a partial refund (after deducting 6,500 THB) is available with official proof of refusal.
Yes, but you must apply for a re-entry permit before departure. Failure to do so will result in visa termination.
No refunds are available for cancellations without visa refusal proof.
